I've finally had the time to begin reading Lanark. I've always meant to, cos I've met Alasdair Gray (I used to deliver the Morning Star to him!) and his own illustrations for his books are pretty damn cool. So - yeah, I'm halfway through, what a fantastic book. What an imagination that guy has. Mucho recommended

What's Lanark about? I'm reading readily right now because of the extensive amounts of free time, and might fire into it if you recommend it so:)
Park was fun on Monday! How long is Mandy away for?

What do you mean by "KC's bum is now wanted badly in Tesco"? Do people fancy him at work? Or think he's an arse?
Lanark is a "gothic thriller" mostly set in Glasgow, but also in this other dimension/future/nightmare (I'm not actually far enough to understand the connection between the two storylines) but yes, it's very interesting. It's full title reads "Lanark: A life in four books" and the storyline set in Glasgow is pretty much telling the story of this guy's life. It's odd but compelling. It's very long though. Be patient with it.
Park, indeed, was fun on Monday. Correct, Marjorie.
Mandela, I have been led to believe, is on a fortnight's leave from the Lads. No-one knows for certain, though.
Bum.
