The Herald reviewed the rabbish play today. It said -

"superbly stark and simple script"

Eve says that = crappy crap carp crap script with minimal words so the actors didn't get too confused.

"is given inevitably variable expression"

Eve says that = yeah, the actors were rabbish.

"Katya Silich's Athene is especially focused and emotive"

Eve says that = Katya Silich is crazy and has claw-hands

"this is high quality community theatre"

Eve says that = No. It's not. It's pants.

It got ♥♥♥

Dearie me...

It's just the Herald's poncy bleeding-heart-liberal social consciencious arts correspondants. They feel sorry for these neds & refugees up in sighthill, so anything they do that seems socially productive will be welcomed with an open rectum. Even if it is absolute gash.

But anyway. It was guid to go to the theatre, even if it is just to flag up my reputation as the Arty Pseudo-Intellectual of the Lads.

Hmm.

It is going to be odd not living in Glasogw, I'm going to miss everything and everyone; but in saying that, Edinburgh 's not exactly a million miles away, its more like 40, and its only an hour on the train, so i would hope that you lot will come and see me - a night on the town should be arranged. Although, regardless of where you go and what you do over there, there is always a 75% chance you wil get AIDs.

"Bum, as in Freddo-Bum!"
