I've always been of the belief that reality television was unhealthy and that its popularity hurts networks. This is due to the fact that if reality programing is popular then networks will be less likely to pick up or renew a show that is original and creative. Case in point, Fox and its cartoons. Just saw Jersey Girl. Yeah, the Kevin Smith movie with Affleck and George Carlin. It was excellent, it had a few lousy scenes but the movie really picked up and the humor was very good in the movie. The pop culture references were not so much in your face as his other films and on the whole the humor wasn't so brazen but still rather enjoyable. ( Read more... )

Once upon a time I heard a song called "Komm Susser Tod" while watching the movie End of Evangelion. I do believe that this song is perhaps the saddest song I have ever heard.
