Idiots on IMDB are basically like a buzzing mosquito you hear when you're still waking up-just won't go away.

And trying to get rid of insipid asses like these is like trying to nail jello to a wall.

I love the Simpsons. I'm wondering what the movies is going to be like!

FOr me, I honestly stopped enjoying The Simpsons about 5-10 years ago. I think the show has really overstayed its welcome and the movie SHOULD be the end to the series, even though it won't be.

Don't get me wrong. I love The Simpsons, but not the last several seasons of it where it's just not the same quality as it used to be. I'm not going to say that they owe it to me to entertain me for half an hour or any crap like that. It's very much like pro-wrestling: if I don't like the product, I simply won't watch it.

And that's alright, that's normal and the attitude that I can understand.

The "the owe me" complaint reminds me of complaints leveled at the "Olde English Comedy Troupe". For years, they operated as a non-profit group, and you can still download their 105 free skits.

This year, they went pro. Some fans were understanding. Some were outraged. "You owe us!" "How dare you sell out!"

Zheezh. They have to make a living, and can't survive forever on donations and government arts grants.

"the Simpsons is like Jazz music, no I mean it's like a JELLO pudding pop, no wait it's actually like the new Coke, it'll be around for ever; Heh,heh, heh" I do plan on seeing the movie. I still watch the show, they still manage a couple of good episodes a season despite the 18 yrs of running seperate from the Tracy Ulman show. That also means that there are university students at this point who have not known a world without Simpsons (unless they weren't fans of the show). Yeah that's cultural impact alright.
