Why I love my job

Just finished a two day training event, dismounted patrolling. Almost as soon I arrive at the assigned tent just barely large enough to fit my 35 men I was handed a book with a situation and brief operations order and told to make it happen. For two days I ran on about 1 meal (a Meal Ready to Eat), 4 hours of sleep, and nerves.

I feel awesome.
