So I show up in Kansas for my new job position.  I'm all ready to kick ass and show my stuff.  I spend one week with my new organization when I'm told the entire company is taking a block of vacation time.  I'm not one to refuse paid leave, but I was hoping to at least get settled in first.  Ah well.  It has been months since I visited my parents ( Read more... )
