I noticed someone holding this placard in a photo from the 1980 election. Can you imagine any political candidate dredging up this slogan during the past few elections? They would be vilified as "unpatriotic."

The sad thing is the Republicans STILL have a Reagan fetish. He's dead. He's not coming back, and they need to accept that, not only do they not have another one in the wings, things have changed in this country for at least the near future.
