With Ustream, is it possible to set up your show and password protect it ahead of time, and then just start the video from the iphone?

(Not sure what the etiquette is on addressing people by their real names on LJ, so I'll use your screen names.)

Ladykalessia, they do have an iPhone client, as a matter of fact, and one of the screen shots looks like it's recording (despite the fact that the short description implies that it's a viewer only), so I'll give that a go.

Waywardbound, that's exactly what I did. Works like a charm for the live stream, but if I then want to save the video (which of course I do), that saved video is immediately viewable by everyone in the world. Idiotic, but true. Go to my profile page at http://www.ustream.tv/user/TheBelgian and click on the "Archived Videos" tab on the right and you'll see something that I just recorded "live" with the iPhone as part of a password-protected show.

Screen names = Win. :)

JustinTV is what the DNA is using to stream their live shows these days, since the RealServer crapped out, and well, nobody supports RealMedia anymore.
