I'm glad you liked it. I am a huge fan of the books and I think Craig pulls off the Bond from the books better than Brosnan did, although I liked Brosnan as Bond. Connery, while fun, is NOT my favourite Bond - that would be reserved for George Lazenby who only did the one movie. Moore is too effete, although I still like the movies he is in and Dalton is just...ugh.
I highly recommend reading all the Fleming books because you'll get a different feeling for the Bond character than is portrayed in the movies. Warning: they are very sexist!

Yeah, you know, I think I have read a couple of the books but it was literally when I was in grade 6 or something so I don't really remember them at all. I'll give them another go this year. Any personal faves/recommendations? Just go in order?
Roger Moore is actually my favourite Bond. I liked his demeanor a lot better than Sean Connery's and I didn't like the other Bond's at all. I'm not sure I actually saw the film Lazenby was in, now that I think about it. But there's just something about Moore, he is pure suave in those films even if he wasn't so believable as a real fighting man. Craig is a little too beefed up for my tastes but I guess just to do the stunts and fight scenes in that film he had to get some muscle on him.
I'm excited to see him in the next one, Bond 22. I think that will really show whether he is a real Bond or just a one shot deal.

The first one I read was Goldfinger and it's still my favourite. They're all good!
I can't wait to see the next Bond movie. I almost want them to just remake the ones already done to see Craig in them.
Have you ever read any of the Modesty Blaise series? She's very much in the spirit of Bond but even more kickass. I only have one book and I adore it. You should check those out, too.
