A limerick a day keeps the doldrums away

My favorite part of limericks is the smashing together of words to fit the rhyme scheme.

I am a dragon litigious!
My grasp of the law is prodigious!
I filed a suit,
the court ruled it moot,
Chomp! That judge was deligious!

by yours truly, with a little help from my friends.

there once was a girl who wrote letters
that made her sad friend feel much betters.
she misses miss rachel
and hopes her response will
be more fun than 10 irish setters.

okay, so not a great limerick. but i wanted to say thanks for the letter, and i've EVEN already written you one back (it just requires a stamp and to be mailed so...that may take a bit...but it's written and sealed and everything!)!

also, you have made me want to participate in nnwm. which i *clearly* have time to do. *sticks tongue out at you*

*sticks tongue out at you* That is a splenDIFerous limerick. It obeys the cardinal rule of being absolutely ridiculous word playing.

Hooray letters! I'm glad it was well received. Yay stamps! Yay having no time & doing things anyway! If you want to be kind to yourself you could sign up for the young person version of nanowrimo and pretend you are in their age range, because they get to choose how many words is their goal, and then you wouldn't have to leap into quite so deep a lake...I am trying to catch up from taking a few days off and actually get ahead in anticipation of Thanksgiving...it is intimidating. Done is better than good...I never thought I would have to say that again, but it is SO TRUUUUUEEE! Haha, those vowels are really silly when you write them that way. Loves!
