I downloaded the trial version of Keyhole when I was sick last week; it expires tomorrow, I think. Not sure I'll take the plunge - I spent so much time on it and took so many screen shots that it might not be necessary!

I might add that the other day at work, there were three computers in one of the offices running Keyhole, and a small group of people crowded around each watching satellite maps load. (That's got to be a new phrase to coin, to replace "watching paint dry" ; "watching websites render".)
Can anyone explain why the White House is sharp, but the Capitol Building is blurred?

Actually, Keyhole uses Google as its image source so the images are the same, thus, old - at least 3 years old in some sections (my home area to be specific).
And I don't know why the White House is Sharp and the Capital Building blurred. Maybe the satellite was changing lenses when it hovered over that spot.
Don't lose sleep over it - all of Australia at the city level is blurred out. So no spying on Bradley I guess.

The guys in the office were homing in on specific houses in Sydney ... I don't know if the resolution was different from the US one, but it was definitely sharp. Unlike the maps.google version, where it's difficult to even make out Sydney on the satellite map, it's so far away.
And I couldn't find CIA headquarters anywhere in Virginia.

I suppose you 'visited' Sydney first . . . ;-)

Hope you are feeling better.

Is the Keyhole version more up-to-date than the maps.Google version when I'm spying on your house? :)
