Dear Fred, I'm so sorry to hear about your dear sweet doggie.

When I sent my Little Lisa on to eternity a couple of years ago, I had so much pain and guilt over it. My vet spoke some very wise words of comfort to me, and I think it may give you some comfort as well. She said "sending Lisa on her way was not a sin, but a gift for her soul." This helped me so much.

Thank you, my friend, for the warm thoughts. I was thinking of Jake just before Calypso passed and how you were there for him. Our canine spirits are certainly a blessing to us.
