Well I was overdue to spend some time on the new bike this weekend. Took off for a really nice stroll down River Road - a nice rural road running the length of the Sacramento river on the west bank. Beautiful day, nice cool breeze, no other vehicles in my direction - couldn'd be more perfect. Then when I went to turn around, it happened. I found

Also, airfares from here to SNA and LAX aren't as low as they were last year when I flew Frontier. I've got enough frequent flyer miles on Northwest for two round-trips, but I figure since I've gone so many times, I would do better to hold them for traveling someplace new.
But ya never know...I'll keep you posted.

Don't get skittish about gravel, just give it some respect. You can learn to manuver in it, just keep the bike upright and use a light throttle. It takes longer to turn, but with practice, that skiddy stuff can be tamed.
