Powered up Fortress Whale being on 50 AP above Dark Magician makes me giggle.
Heh, nice job looking crazy and offering to lend your host like he's an old sweater, YnB. "Just don't get anything on it and bring it back in one... *blooddrip.* Right, nevermind."
On a would be more serious note, a spastic-laughing YnB with calm-amused Marik makes my day for reasons I can't quite quantify. I'm assuming there's dialogue in there about "take him to his friends" cut out, unless YnB just likes offering random help without spelling out how to use it... Though that isn't too far off his behavior in Black Crown is it. Why Ring spirit, you're like an evil!Dumbledore or something.
...I have trouble commenting on this duel here. Namely because of lines like "That's not just any whale-!"
Though I will say Ryouta's reasoning is a little "O-o" to me on the "how did you get into dueling from that?"
...I will not make a crack about Sugoroku filling in for Honda in the cheering squad. Though the addition of silent consideration over more cheering does make me think more of YnYuugi.
But I have to applaud Jounouchi's considerations about the environment around them, even if I had a beat of "That can't be- Or right, different rules in-series." And for once I'm for that, as it's taking the field spell concept to a level you don't get a lot elsewhere. But darn if that's not one sneaky whale.
Only one today, given that final. But there should be more this week, around a couple fics and any would-be rp time. I've also been considering backing up to the beginning of the series and commenting on that- Which sounds better, getting input on the early series or moving forward through BC at this pace?
