I just went to third world issues class and learned about the big world outside me. Then I went to small group and learned about the big God outside me. And the verdict is: I'm a complete idiot. while you *may* be small (not as small as me), i don't think that problems are an issue of size. have you ever read "a wind in the door" by madeleine l'engle? it talks a lot about how everything in creation, no matter how big or small, is equally important. okay, so i know what you mean, that our struggles with schoolwork don't compare to the problem of world hunger, but i guess i have to say that everyone's problems matter, no matter how big or small...i think this is a matter of perception.
