Shady FTM Businesses.  It's been started here on the reddit page, so I wanted to invite folks there, but we can just as well discuss it here.  What's to be done?http://www.reddit.com/r/LJ_FTM/comments/jwqwm/

The same accountability standards should apply. In other words, BBB, report it legally etc. I do not differentiate between community oriented businesses and big business. I can donate my money to charitable causes, and try to support local business as much as possible. However, I am a consumer and want to be treated fairly. If I am buying something, I don't care if it is my mother (may she rest in peace) selling it, I want a reliable item at a fair price in a reasonable time frame. If I don't get that or satisfaction, I will treat it the same way I would treat walmart.

If we do not police ourselves (and honestly, I have seen way too much of this in the so called fringe communities I have been in, whether queer or leather or black), then the authorities will have to. Plan and simple. If an ftm owned business wants my business, sell me a good product I have a need for at a reasonable price.

I vote quite often and quite vocally with my wallet.
