I brought my CD player to rehearsal today. All was going fine; I was chatting with my fellow actors, and in the background, such artists as Smashing Pumpkins, Norah Jones and 311 were ambiently chiming in my ear. I wish I had musical talent. It seems that everyone and their cousins are musical prodigies these days. People sing, people play guitar, bass, drums, piano, tambourine, triangle; everything.

And I suck at guitar.
