rude or not rude

does anyone think it is rude to message someone on AIM when your significante other leaves their aim on and leaves the room and you see someone is IMing them to let them know your other isn't online to get their message?

i don't think it is rude.

actually i think it is nice to let them know.

okay, my girlfriend left her aim on and i saw the box flashing so i opened it and told her friend she wasn't in the room and she got mad at me and said it was rude so i was trying to see if it really is rude or not...

mind you I was not in the room for like 2 mins, and then she COPY the sn, and signed on her name, and then started chatte w her on her friends list. .... i dont find anything nice about it, i do find it rude, but thats cuz it actually happend to me :)
