good luck on your diet. I know it certainly isnt easy. I think the key is to remember that "excited-ness" you feel right now. Weight Watchers calls it the honeymoon phase. Don't let go of that - when it becomes routine ... mix it up a little and remember how excited you were in the beginning ( that's what I do and it's working! )
and yes! 24 lbs can really make a big difference when getting diseases like high cholesterol, high blood pressure etc. I remember after I hit about 25lbs down my cholesterol went wayy down to about normal!!!
