Its funny the way Its been months since I've cried for my dad. And then I was listening to some old music and I played Eagles - Tequila Sunrise and I just started crying. When I last remember that song, I remember being happy for my dad because he was always so down and he had his new girlfriend and he would smile so much. She took us out for lunch

aww. i know what you mean about songs reminding you of people you love. I think the same way. i already tell my hub that whenever I walk in this hometown pizza joint it reminds me so much of my father ( we ate there constantly when i was a kid ) ..i told him I just don't know how i'll ever eat there again when he passes it reminds me of him soo much.

Thanks. Yeah. It can be pretty tough. Especially with my uncle dying a two years after my father did and of the same disease. Some people never learn. I will be okay. :D

can i ask what disease?

Oh. they both died of Cirrhosis. Its a liver disease. My dad would drink but not too much. Not until his girlfriend left him, he drank a lot and got sick. And I dont even know why my uncle survived longer than my dad. He was drinking since way before my dad was and in greater amounts. I guess people's bodies will accept things differently. :)
