Hey, I'm taking Lexapro and I am goddamned glad I am. I don't have to keep fighting and fighting just to keep myself from constantly freaking out or lying in bed all day believing I was a hopeless, worthless piece of shit.

yeah, I was starting to freak out and/or lie around and Stacy had to cover for me, which made me feel even more worthless since she works so hard as it is. Now I am nice to the kids, nicer than ever to Stacy and actually have very few, if any, desires to see the world end in a big fiery disaster. Probably should have started taking it long ago. Then I would already be passed the guilt stage of needing a drug to keep my mind sane. Have you noticed any side effects? At 10mg I was sleepy all the time and could not have orgasms. At 5mg I am awake more but cannot really focus to get anything finished. Maybe 7.5mg would work? The stupid thing is, my insurance would not let me have 10mg without some extra paperwork, but 20mg was fine... so I am cutting the things in fourths.
