Thanks! Writing something in second person-present tense isn't something I'd recommend; I'm glad that it worked out so well.

That was lovely and, you know, nostalgic.

Your Sam-voice is awesome, and I admit--I have a crazy love for second person. I can hear Rob Lowe in my head saying, "You caught up on sleep later." Heh.

I LOVED the details that you used to describe the changes in Sam's relationship with his friends and the White House. So much with the rockage.

I'm so glad someone else shares my love for second person fic. It's so hard to get right :)

Thanks for the great feedback!

You know I deeply *heart* this fic. It's got that perfect little bittersweet contentment that makes it real. *love you, love Sam* Er, except I love you more, because you're, y'know, real.

Aww, thank you. When someone asked me what my ultimate job would be, I responded "Sam Seaborn," so I've got some problems telling fiction from reality as well...

Wandered over here after my friend got me a paid account and I was trying out all the new features including the one that tells you about your friends' most viewed friends. It seems a bit like stalking, to me, but hey, I found your journal and it looks like fun.
So I'm friending you.
*friend*
Hope you don't mind.

Yay, stalking! Welcome!

*is intrigued by this new feature* Where can I find out who my friends are stalking reading a lot?

Hehehe. Well, it's the "ability to view popular users among your friends" paid feature, which you can get to from the bottom of the FAQ here:
http://www.livejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=131

There appear to be a lot of fun stalkerish features (See "Friends of Friends" feature) that you can access with a paid account.
Wheeeeee!

You can also make totally pointless polls!

*sings the praises of being a paid user*
