President's Speech on Iraq (Reinterpreted)

Jun 29, 2005 16:25

As promised, here's a reinterpretation of the President's speech at Fort Bragg last night. As always, my liberal bias is totally apparent, and this is in no way the actual text of the speech. For that, go here. Other than that, enjoy :)

September 11th is to Iraq like Earth logic is to Bush logic. )

Kidding, kidding. Tom Delay, put that rifle down.

*giggle*

Great stuff, as always. :)

Thank you! He needs to spice up his talking points--he's starting to sound exactly the same. It's basically the same thing he said at the State of the Union and the Inaugural and the Presidential Debates.

As a satirist, I demand new material :)

Marry me, you wild thing.
(Oh wait, I'm straight and already married.)

Love your snarkified speeches. This one really made my day.

As it happens, so am I. I appreciate the sentiment, though :)

I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Hee. I'm glad you enjoyed it! This is pretty much my form of therapy for getting through the rest of his term. I started with the debates and have just kept snarking through his recent speeches.

It makes me feel better :)
