Interesting little place we've got here...  And an interesting little device to boot.

So, this place is called Paixao, is it?  Don't think I've ever seen a place shine quite like this before.  Tell me, do you just pick things up and pay or is all this glitz simply for aesthetics?

Oh, hi again, Balthier! How's it hangin'?

I guess you could pay for the jewels and stuff, but if nobody's bothering to watch it, it must be free, I always say~ ♥ Not like they don't have more where it came from, right?

Yeah, it's me, Rikku, remember? You flew off on that magic carpet in a hurry, but I'm sure I told you my name first. You never did answer my question, either, huh?

Oh right! Well, you can do that too. It's pretty funny how everybody's too lazy to pick their own when they're right there, but I'm not complaining!

Magic... carpet? Are you sure you don't have me mixed up with someone else? I'd think I'd remember something like that. And what question would that be, for curiosity's sake?

Ah, good. Money shouldn't be too hard to come by, then.

Oh, it might be just for aesthetics. Or it might not, for that matter. But you have to admit, it certainly gives the place a unique flair.

Unique and expensive. Makes me wonder how much gil was spent on this place. Can't be much in the treasury anymore, can there?

Maybe this place is the treasury. Or maybe it's all an elaborate set.

A set sounds far more believable. No one in their right mind would set the contents of their treasury out in the open. Or it could all of this is actually worthless.
