New JC Song!

Yesterday JC-Source posted an unfinished song of JC's called "Tonight." And I have to say, I'm absolutely loving it. It's not exactly uptempo, but it's not a ballad either, which I'm happy about. Not that I don't love his ballads, but I wanted to hear something more uptempo from him

I think your gonna yell at me for saying this... and you know I love me my JC but I don't think I like it... could just be because he is mumbling or the range is to low throughout it but its just not hitting me right... It has nice parts but see I love his normal voice so much the low voice is a little of a shock... I can see it growing on me though... the chorus is really nice.

Or maybe it is because I am so head over in heals in love with his song Better than Love that nothing else is gonna compare. Personally I see that one on the radio. Well I see all of them on the radio if he would ever release another album. ;)

I think he has some really good stuff this time that is a little more mainstream than Schizophrenic was.

I'm not gonna yell at you, lol. I know that the first time I listened to it, it really was a shock to hear him sing so low because he normally doesn't. The first verse especially doesn't sound like him, though you can still tell it's him...if that made any sense, lol.

I like Better Than Love too. He sounds pretty amazing on that song. At first I wouldn't have minded if Kris Allen has used it for his album, but after I listened to it, oh fifty times or so, I was like 'no way. this is JC's song.'

His newer stuff does seem more mainstream, but I don't want it to be too mainstream because he's so brilliant with his music. Schizophrenic was before it's time, which I think added to its appeal. So I don't want him to lose that for his next album...whenever that may be.

I think you are thinking Build Some Love that is the song Kris Allen may or may not be using for his album. Better than Love is the other song. Although I would agree better for JC. :) I really like Always too but there is one part right in the middle that is a little funny... he is rhyming and it is like he takes it one too far...

Duh. I totally know what song is which. Must've been a miscommunication between my brain and my fingers. I really need to proofread my stuff so I don't sound like I have no idea what I'm talking about.

I like Always too, but the echo of "girl, don't be afraid" makes me giggle. Not one of the better parts of the song.

And I think I did see your post about Schizophrenic. You were talking about him being so sex obsessed, right? lol
