You just have to understand that these people for the most part have been left behind by life, they are selfish because perhaps others always took what they had and they are paranoid now. these people probibly need love and friendship, and don't realize to a great extent they sabotage themselves. They are miserable, yes, they try to bring us down because misery likes company, but they should be understood not scorned. There is the very rare person that is truely horrible, but we don't know their story, I think these are they type that never understand how to live. There can be some very good people who do monstrous things be it because they lost everything or they have a disorder

By your understanding of good, and unselfish, I would be in that catagory. It says something about you, that were so quick to judge and not try to understand my words but apply it to the way you see things, and then quickly defend yourself, of which no attack was made. I think you are in denial.
Not everyone who does bad things, is bad. They have good intentions.
If you judge too quickly, you won't take the time to understand. You will hurt others, with your idea's of self righteousness.
Seek truth and understanding, not preconcieved notions of what's good or bad, don't go the distance for ideals, but really understand, what pushes you to the next level, to be the best person you can be.
