[ This milk situation.. Well, there was a rather easy solution to it now thanks to recent events. And while Eva hadn't really been fond of said events (to put it very, very lightly), they had brought her something good. Like an easy way to get through this event

... It's because Hideyoshi was droned. [ Her voice wavers a little at just having to speak those words. ]

[ She stops. She mostly vented by raging earlier, but she's obviously still not completely over it. She probably won't for a while, in fact. ]

Doing this at the same time as the whole town is going crazy over the milk..

[Riza has spent a lot of today attempting to make sure she has not lost her mind and will not suddenly start attempting to kill people again, If she had it her way, she wouldn't have gone to work, either.

So, when she sees the woman standing in the street, clearly distraught, she hesitates, stopping a good few feet away just for good measure. Though she hated to do so, she'd left home without her weapon for an added safety measure.]

Miss? Are you all right?

[ It takes a few moments before the words register, before she even realises there's another person too and she snaps slightly out of her funk, the emotions still flooding over her mind. ]

Alright..? [ She repeats the word blankly, before weakly shaking her head. She can't even muster up words for it right now. ]

No. [ Not injured physically, at least. She stares back at the closed door for a few moments - part of her feels like she could cry right now, but she'll somehow manage to do that last when she's alone, she can't allow herself to break down now. ]

I've just.. lost something very important to m-- [ She chokes up at the last word in an attempt to keep herself from flipping. ]

Except not really. There's a hint of malice since she knows what the milk does. She'll be looking at Rudolf with the cutest, biggest eyes ever! He'll drink it, right daddy? ]

[ Maybe that's why Eva's own smile has a bit of an edge to it too - but then again, that look is usual for her. ]

Ah, that's right.. [ She giggles. ] Well, if you want to drink it so badly, then I won't stop you.

[He takes one bottle and cracks it open, but doesn't lift it from the table for several moments, his hand clamped around the centre.

It's true he said it would be easy, but...people were going pretty crazy, and the ones who did drink it weren't so well off either, were they? Maybe he could feed it to a drone, that would be good enough, right...? No need to put himself in danger!]

[ ... Oh, it's just a young girl, is it. Maybe it's because she's in public that she can still somewhat keep up appearances, or that in her heart she had already said farewell to her husband much earlier, and yet.. it's hard to keep up a somewhat normal front. ]

I'm okay. [ A total lie. ] I just saw something I'd rather not have seen.

Ah, no, it's not the milk. Actually, the milk situation was resolved rather easily at home..

[ She actually doesn't feel like telling strangers all that much, but since it's just a little girl.. ]

... It's the fact that my husband got droned-- my real husband. [ And there's definitely pain in those words. ]

If they had any items from home, those would have disappeared were they permanently droned. As for the milk, I know of spiders and hallucinations.

[ That's all she has to say on the first part - it means Hideyoshi really is gone forever. Somewhere deep down she already realised it. ]

Are the spiders particularly dangerous aside from being.. well, spiders in milk? And do you know what kind of hallucinations the milk can cause? [ Her tone is very cold, down-to-business like. It's how she distracts herself from the droning. ]

I haven't heard of them being any more virulent than normal spiders, if that is what you are asking. As for hallucinations... [He trails off here. He only knows of his own for sure, and needs a moment to figure out the best way to explain it. Finally, he speaks.] When I had mine, it was of something I feared occurring.

They're just amusing themselves by showing our worst fears to us again.
