You're so lucky. I really want to go to MPH, but I'm located beyond convenient driving distance. This makes me sad.
In other news, I know what you mean about that feeling of freedom, because I got the same way once I no longer had to have someone in the vehicle with me. The me and Tocxi went off for a weekend and I nearly got us killed three seperate times.
And we didn't study Canada in depth (which made me sad because I think Canada is neat) but most of us knew that you lot had provinces. So it sounds like you got one of the unintelligent ones.
Yep, I really think I did, unfortunately, run into the type of American that gives you a bad name :(
You could erm... build yourself an amphibious car and cross the pond and then drive to MPH? You could beat all the traffic by "driving" down the Thames!
I nearly made loud secks noises in the library. So I'm quite impressed at my self-control, but Adsjklfjasdkfl;jaskldfj;asdjkls. *grabby hands* Waaaaaaaaant. Want it.
LMAO. Okay, so my reaction wasn't quite so... erm, reactive, but it is a mighty beautiful machine. I wish they were showing it at MPH like they did at the Paris Motor Show.
Thanks for the apology... I was starting to wonder. ;) lol The American school system does suck, but we did have to label all the provinces and their capitols at one point, because I recall the worksheet. I can't remember the names of all the provinces off the top of my head, but I know most of them. Probably helps that a huge portion of my family is Canadian though. ;) I heart Canada!!!!!!!!!
Oooh.. MPH sounds very cool, even though I'm so not a car person. I know you're going to have lots of fun though, and I'm totally excited for you to get to see Top Gear live! :D Have tons of fun, and I hope they let you take your camera in so we can all see pictures. :)
P.S. Did you get the (second) postcard I mailed to you yet?
Glad you had to be put through some similar torture in school! lol At least if someone said a province to you, you'd probably remember it. That's a big step!
MPH is going to be amazing. I was listening to one of the podcasts tonight (they do them weekly about what's going on, talking to the drivers etc) and it just sounds unbelievably exciting. Also full of lots of fire and explosions and loud noises, so it'll be a fantastic show! I hope I can take my camera too - people from last year's show have put full videos on youtube so you must be able to get a camera in somehow!
Second postcard? I got the long one that was the same as the one you sent me last year? I posted that in your blog comments :)
Yeah, but the 50 states torture is worse, for sure. I had to do that as well, and then I elected to take world geography so I had to do that kind of stuff with other countries, too. lol Not all the capitols at least. ;)
That's definitely a good sign that people have videos up from last year. I should think they wouldn't have a problem. Except for during the taping of TG where they probably won't let you, or if they do you'd have to have your flash off or something. *shrug*
lol I read your comment on my blog right after I posted mine here, so the postcard in question is the one you got. ;)
They're not taping - it's like a concert, just live but not on film. London is the first stop on a full world tour. They started filming today for the new series to start on Sunday, though, which will be the cherry on top of the MPH sundae ;)
