I like how much you glow about your siblings on your blog. It's lovely. I have one brother and while we get along better now than we did when we were younger, I can't imagine living in a house like yours with so many kids around all the time, and still feeling any kind of affection for them, lol. The pictures you post are adorable and you seem to be a great big sister to the rest of the kids in your family!

And your icon is pretty too. :)

One can always use an ego boost, I suppose. Heh.

And, because I'm too lazy to post this on my LJ and really only have an account so I can leave you comments, here's a few (can't just pick one) of the many reasons I like you.

You're always there to "listen" (in quotes since half the time you can't actually hear me, you're just reading what I write) to me and give me feedback or just validation if I need it. You're caring and just all around a really good friend. Even though we live really far from each other and have only seen each other in person a few times, I still consider you one of the best friends I've ever had. You've got a good sense of humor. You like BSB. :D And, to your comment you left for someone else saying you thought they were very mature for their age, I have always thought that about you. And you're an amazing writer and... I said I'd just write a few, right? ;)

Aww Hol, that's lovely. Thank you :) Ego boosts are nice... you've totally made my day!

I love how good you are at keeping in contact with me, which of course also involves listening. I have been on the "always making the effort" side of many friendships and it's so nice to see someone who equals it out, or rather, manages to do better than me recently! I feel like I can talk to you and you'll really listen and offer some kind of advice and try to lend a hand despite the distance. That means a lot :)

If we're going to be talking about writing, my dear, yours has to be mentioned too! I loved the fairytale story you did. I thought it was brilliantly creative and I was so disappointed that online mag didn't snatch it up. You have a wonderful imagination and I wish I could come up with some of the things you do!

We'll just be the mutual admiration society now. ;)
