This is the second of three reports I have for seeing David Cook so this will be long. Be prepared for some fangirling ahead.
Please Note: the vids are not mine! The pictures are mine so if you are taking them, please credit!! The vids are from http://DavidCooksFan.com

The Day before:
Ok so I get to Melissa’s house like at 7 pm on Wednesday night and so I have all my things prepared. My Terry poster and everything else that is essential for waiting in line for 12 fucking hours. It was around 8:30 pm that we all decided that we wanted to go and get some alcohol. So we decide what we want and what Melissa’s mom wants to drink. We get to ‘Discount Liquor’ and we pick up four 4-packs of Wine Coolers for Melissa’s mom and two 6-packs of Mikes Hard (Pomegranate, and Pink Lemonade). Then we wanted some vodka so we walk over to the where the vodka was and we couldn’t find a cheap enough bottle. So we just picked up the plastic bottle of Smirnoff vodka and we walked up to the register. It came up to about $30 which isn’t that bad but the cashier gave me a box to put some of the alcohol in it. Then two of the wine cooler packs were just sitting there alone so I asked Becky to take them. I carried the box, of course. Long story short, we drank screw drivers and Mikes Hard while we played my Kingdom Hearts game. No, we weren’t drunk, maybe buzzed, but not drunk. Then we went to bed around 1:30 am.

Concert day:
We wake up around 5:30-6:00 am. I got about 5 hours of sleep which is pretty good. But Melissa, Becky and I all get dressed, made sure that we had the posters and that we had whatever we needed. Then we headed off to the Washington County Fair around 7:00. It took us about 45 minutes to get up there. So we got up there and we were waiting in line for about 5 minutes before the doors opened at 8:00. Then we basically ran down to the gates to wait for 12 hours and we were 9th, 10th, and 11th in line. They were getting everything set up; the chairs were just lying like right next to the line. Supposedly, they were going to fit 300+ people in all the chairs. While we were in the line, we met this really nice lady who let us use her blankets so that we can sit down. So we sit down on the blankets and then we get to working on Melissa’s poster. It took us about 3 hours to finish her poster which killed a lot of time. Her poster said, “I’ve Got My Back Bone Stuffed Inside My Purse, But You Can Win Me Over With A Kiss On The Neck.” We had to use different color markers because they kept on running out. Around 2 pm, our friend Amanda showed up with her aunt and she had a poster board with her. So she made one that said “We Want to Say Hi to DUBLIN!” and on the back of it, it said “WI ♥ DC!” That took her about 30 minutes to finish that poster.
Finally around 5:00 pm, the whole line shifted so we could be let into the VIP area at 6:00 pm. Guess where we got!!! SECOND ROW, DEAD CENTER!! Not even joking, this was the most amazing thing ever because I got some really awesome pictures of everybody (Mostly Neal and David though…but you will see these pics later on…XD). Green River Ordinance (GRO from now on) was the opening band for David Cook and his band. GRO is an awesome band; I saw them when they opened up for Gavin Degraw and they were really awesome!! Jamey is my favorite because he looks like Neal a little bit. Becky and I call GRO, the look-a-like band because the lead singer looks like Tyson Ritter from AAR, the drummer looks like one of the dudes from Kings of Leon, Jamey looks like Neal, the bassist, Jeffery, looks like Kyle, and the other guitarist, Josh, looks like Anton Yelchen. These guys are pretty awesome to see live, so if they come to a city near you, see them!

FINALLY…DAVID COOK!!!!
OMFG, this is the most epic concert I have ever been to in my life. So here is the set list:
Setlist:
Kiss on the neck
Mr. Sensitive
Heroes
WOHWWS (We’re Only Honest When We’re Sleeping)
Lie
Bar-Ba-Sol
HFT (Hot For Teacher)
Souvenir
Declaration
CBTM (Come Back To Me)
----------------------
Light On
A Daily AntheM

Highlights:
~He was playing baseball and frisbee with the whole band and with GRO! It was fun to watch him do that!! Got a few pictures of him doing that too!

~Him opening up with Kiss on the Neck was amazing. Melissa’s sign was useless but we were rocking out like crazy during this song. But this was an awesome opener.

~His banters: The first one was before ‘We’re Only Honest When We’re Sleeping’ I held my Terry sign and he pointed at it and laughed then he started to play the song. Ok the second banter was before ‘Lie’. This is where we talks about he comes with a price tag. The third banter was before ‘Souvenir’. He just talked about how it was an unreleased single. Then the greatest banter in the world; the one before ‘Come Back To Me’. This is where he noticed my light-up necklace that I had on. It’s fucking hilarious to watch! I’ll post all of the banter videos after the pictures so you can watch them all.

~When he said, “I’ll let Kyle introduce this next song.” Right then and there, I knew he was going to play Hot For Teacher! I haven’t heard that song since the Green Bay show and it’s still an awesome song to hear live.

~David throwing his picks at Neal and Neal giving him this look that said, “Please stop doing that!”

I think that’s all I wanted to post for this concert. Pictures and videos will be down below this.

This is the best banter ever because like right at the beginning he notices my light up necklace. It’s pretty funny and fast. If you can’t hear what he’s saying, here’s what he said to me:

DC-That’s a fantastic light up necklace that you’re wearing!
Me-Thank you!
DC-Is that radioactive? What the hell? Like I see all these flashbulbs and then I see THAT THING.
