I'm back from Seattle.

First, A correction; I was at the QuikSCAT conference, not Quickscat. Fabulous. It was at the Grand Hyatt Seattle, which is


slightly opulent.

Even the bathrooms are marble.


And the toilets have manual buttons in case the automatic flush fails.


All day long I stared at talks and posters like this


and I night I hung out with Eric and Shelley.
