The daily survey of the yard has shown many happy discoveries. Many of the lilies' leaves are poking up through the soil and the sedum looks fine. I also have a miniature sedum somewhere if I can remember where I put him. He was in the porch pot last summer and I transplanted him into the front side bed. I think. One of these days it's just possible that people will stop littering. Hah!

I wish. I live in the middle of nowhere (honest, people think my road ends three driveways before you get to my house). Yet, I keep winding up with random trash blown up into my yard. (This is quite an accomplishment of wind currents, because trash has to travel about 250 feet up a pretty decent hill to reach my yard.)

Also, my house came with litter. A few summers ago, when aslanspawh and I were putting wire mesh behind the lattice on the bottom of the porch (bunny proofing), we found an ancient Aquafina bottle that must have been dropped when the porch was being built.
