You're Warm-A Kihae drabble
You’re…warm
“You’re warm.” Donghae’s voice held surprise.
“Oh? Well, your arm’s around me.”
“No, I mean…you’re a warm person.”
“You mean on the inside. Yes, usually…why?”
“Well, you used to seem cold.”
Donghae thinks back to early memories…
Kibum sitting silently by himself.
Kibum not responding much when spoken to.
Kibum smiling some, but laughing rarely.
Kibum rarely playing games, and showing no interest in…a lot of things.
“Ah. But now I seem?” Kibum’s voice interrupts him.
“Now…”
Donghae thinks on recent memories for a second…
Kibum silently listening to him tell a story, or about his day, or about any subject.
Kibum’s gentle way of showing interest, in his eyes, his nods, his occasional words.
Kibum’s stories and thoughts, often so serious and deep.
Kibum laughing at his jokes, and smiling often.
Kibum playing random pranks, pointing out things that amuse him, and showing interest in…many things, probably just for the sake of his friends.
“You’re warm, very nice.”
Kibum smiles. That smile doesn’t lie.
For Kibum, the people who mattered…mattered. And everyone else didn’t. That was just the way it was. Not being haughty, but…what’s the point in fake intimacy? None, to him.
A/N: Wow, I'm writing Kihae again? Interesting. To be honest, it's weird. Kichul is what makes me most certain about Kibum's warmth, but it's hard for me to write a warm Kichul fic. What's wrong with me?! lol, I write Kichul-inspired Kihae. Ah well. Hope someone likes this, besides me :). I know it's basic.
