I'd rather she had an action plot than a romantic plot in S4, but I'll take what I can get with Kate...

I just hope it doesn't turn out as awful as Will's romantic plot in S3. Ugh.

Yes, but this is a constant problem with Stargate (and ex-Stargate) writers and love interests for regular cast characters: they start off looking like good prospects and then get hit by the stupid stick. Or the 'bad circumstances' stick.

Let's just say, I don't have a lot of faith in the ability of the writers to write good on-screen relationships.
