LLS Season 9 - Round 3: Voting!

This week's theme was: Go Green!

For those of you that don't know what it means, simply do a Google Search. But for the most part it means helping the environment. Using reusable bags, walking/biking instead of driving, doing stuff to save energy, etc. Read a few things about it and you will get it. :) Now on to the poll!

I found it difficult to vote this round, because none of the layouts really stirred me. ernestsewell's suffers from the problem that fixed background layouts generally do; a foreground that is difficult to read over a busy background when you drop the foreground opacity, which isn't helped by the use of a very small font. While I quite like the basic layout of squidstick's, I am not very fond of small light fonts on a dark background; it's hard on the eye and gets tired after awhile. wingweaver22's doesn't do much for me, its clunky and the use of a pale lime green for links is a bit awkward on the eye. I keep thinking stimulus' layout is too wide; it isn't, it just looks like it and the design appears unbalanced. While there isn't anything particularly 'original' in unoriginal's, it has the benefit of being neat and easy to read. Not sure the floorboard back works for me, but it would be easy enough to adapt to your own requirements.

You're welcome. I like the basic layout (and I've always had a thing, graphics-wise, for gradiant images, so the header works for me) and I even like the colour (my own recent layout was green). I've tried playing around with lower opacity foregrounds myself but I can never get them to work where text is involved. And I hope the icon isn't an indication of your feelings 'cause truly, it was purely a subjective opinion.

squid_stick's layout is lovely. I like the colour scheme that was used. I loved unoriginal's layout too, but the floorboard background was kind of tacky.
