That books sounds cute. And in many different cultures its more common to get married in the early 20s NOT 30s and 40s like in america. My mom was like 19 or 20 when she got married.

It is. I was laughing the whole time I was reading this book, even while the commitment-phobic in me was cringing in fear :)

You guys are lucky, you have 10-20 years more before your mom starts trying to set you up with "a nice man", and your relatives start hounding you, lol, the last time I attended a family reunion, my cousin Peng and I (being the only two unmarried women past the age of 21, had to hide out in one of the rooms after the hundredth uncle had asked us why we weren't married. *sighs*

i just tell everybody who's asking that im not getting married at all, all i want is the baby!

Hmm... I guess I've reached the point where I've felt I've done everything I thought I wanted to do. Living alone is the pits. It somehow made me realize that there's more to life than the gimmicks, the travelling, the career...

I heard this somewhere and it got to me somehow:
"Think about the most important moment of your life. It's nothing if you don't matter to anyone except yourself."
