well let me tell you i went to college right after high school. i dropped out by christmas. i wasnt doing any work and i was getting booted from classes. i then enrolled at NHTI, but still didnt do much work and got the boot from e few classes there, too. my parents were paying for my education at that point in time. i lost that. i now live on my own not just because i want to but also because i have to. i had to pay my mom rent and live under her rules. not cool when youre 20. i also no whave to pay for my own education. so if you can do the work, and not fuck life over for yourself, take take the free ride while it lasts, cuz soon, it will all be on your shoulders.
If your feeling like you need a break you probably need a break, I did and I didn't take one and five years later with too many classes and no graduation in sight.
You just have to try to figure out if the stress will balance out with being there or not being there. It's something you have to decide. Maybe you should look into not being a full time student, working out there and doing it that way so you both get out of here and don't have to worry too much about being tapped out school wise.
