those are all wonderful!
i have been avoiding cable. is it difficult?

cable's not that bad at all..it's one of those things that looks a lot harder than it is. you knit normally most of the time, then when it's time to do the twist, you just skip the stitches that you have on your cable needle, knit how ever many you need to after. then you knit the stitches from the cable needle, then you go back to normal.
