I'm super-lame. I've been getting this sick craving for a while to do a remix manga, kind of like Tsubasa. (Translation for Jessie n Kris=this comic artist team did a bunch of popular comic books, then later made up a new story using the old characters from all the different books, smooshed together, and it was really cute and everyone loved it

DO IT! I'd read it. :D I love remix stories. I don't know your characters as well as the others, so I have no idea who'd be what, but era stuff sounds awesome! I like pretty costumes.

Possible time periods:

Victorian (Mary=terrifying in this clothing...and suits!!)

Future (lame)

Ridiculous mish-mash of the first two (hee, hee...so many stoopid options)

Feudal (too much fun and almost too geeky)

Okay, not a time period, but Zombie Holocaust. Freaking...insanely...fun. Guns a-blazin'...oh, God! Byron could be a cop in this incarnation!! OMG!!!!!!!! How ironic. And Elvia can be a criminal on the loose! For arson! Ooooh, oooh, she could be a deadly, catsuit-wearing assassin who has to team up with a ragtag group and help annihilate the Zs. And then when all is said and done, she is given a pardon for her crimes and a zombie-slaying trophy. She then marries Isaac, who is now a pre-school teacher. XD

Or total bs fantasy theme! Crazy worlds, insane monsters, nifty outfits...and then I can give my old medieval-set story a bit of a nod. Miles and Elvia can be a world-class mother/son fencing duo taking the world by storm. But they meet their match when a mute, furry barbarian takes the day! <-- guess

Okay, so if you haven't read and loved a remix manga/comic, you have no idea why this idea sounds interesting or fun at all. So just enjoy this goofy, frivolous post! ^__^

you're wrong. there's a similar thing in fanfic and its sometimes called a x-over, sometimes crack, most often both. and kris actually inspired me to write a heroes/whatever that thing you want is called. its heroes crack with our beloved cast as archetypes in 80s high school movies.

but i just needed to tell you you're wrong.

I'd like to pointlessly comment on my own journal entry for future ref: I STILL love this idea and want to do it.

Other ideas: PIRATES! Byron's hair goes white! Demon-slaying! Giblets!
