I'm having, like, crazy mood swings. I could probably just cry right now, even though there are a bunch of people in the room with me. I could just cry and that would make things better, right

it's good to think about finances and try to plan ahead as much as possible. you do have plenty of time, though. it's not like you're going to be kicked out the minute that you express interest in finding your own place. you can get inexpensive things at goodwill and thrift stores until you can afford fancy, and you know that the 'rents are going to buy/give you stuff.
also, i think you need to seriously consider the stress relief involved in being able to screw your girlfriend whenever you damn well feel like it without worrying who else is around. 'cause that would be frickin' sweet.
:) Kris, I love you! You're so sensible and awesome!
The only thing is that...I've had plenty of time to save up, but...
...
:( I really haven't. I've apparently just been on a crazy buy-stuff bender for the past year, so saving-wise, it's been a complete waste. ;__; And nobody feel sorry for me either, cuz it's my own stupid fault. It's just that...now it's biting me in the ass.
It's one of those things with me--I only do stuff when I absolutely have to. (*coughPROCRASTINATORcough*) So this month and the next...I'm gonna work and sell art like a mofo (between classes, of course).
*sigh* But I am very disappointed in myself. At least I had fun, though. ;P (I'm terrible! XD)
I second the comment about being able to screw when ever you want. You won't be hiding anything anymore.
Just remember that you don't need to have brand spanking new stuff right away. Savannah had that issue where she HAD to have band new fantastic furniture and it broke her wallet like nothing else.
It's still a ways off yet too. You don't have to move out right when you're done with this semester either, you can wait a bit and get everything sorted out then.
Annnnd, you guys can always get your own kitty when you move out! It could be like your own love child. Just.. fuzzy and mewly.
It'll be ok though. Totally not disagreeing on the scary part, but it'll work out alright.
Thank you, too, dear! It's gonna be crazy coming out to the rents, though. I might get kicked out of my family! XD (Why am I laughing? Cuz I gotta!)
Yeah, it's definitely going to be the thrift store route for stuff, no lie. Poor Savannah...she loves her new stuff!
And again, the time thing. I could wait to move out til I saved for a few more months, but we wanna move out in the summer so we can have a sort of safety net. (More time to work/less time to have to adjust to the scary new things.)
And the longer we wait...the easier it becomes to just not move out and avoid the scary new things. I think in a way we've got to just...jump in a bit. O__o I'm scared as hell about not being completely and utterly conservative in this decision, but I think we should just get out there, you know?
Sorry to vent so much. You guys are great because you're logical and kind and I can bounce ideas off you and see if they're crazy or not.
Aww, no worries hun. :D I don't mind listening to you vent.
Yeah, you're right. The more you wait and put it off the less appealing it becomes. I totally understand that. :) And moving out when you don't have school to worry about at the time does make sense.
Don't worry! You can do it! Go Bee go! *insert made up cheerleader routine here*

I will do this enough for the both of us, damnit. D:
And our supportive friends are right! See, look how rational? It will be grand. Just imagine Lucius saying that. "It will be grand, friend." Better?

And Lucius saying that just adds to the cred. :)

Except . . . well, wait. Um . . . well, just look at that reassuring smile and don't think about the stuff that he actually does/says. :D
