here He could sense the scowl, but chose to ignore it as they made their way to a balcony. "Do you feel like you can control yourself as a bat?"
"I think so." At least, as long as he stayed focused. He didn't feel like nursing an injured shoulder again.
"Ah, right, your shoulder. The change would pop it out of joint again." The vampire reminded himself.
"Sorry..."
"It is fine, things do happen."
Hansel nodded.
The vampire started to talk on the wolf form.
The boy waited, slightly nervous about the night's hunt.
The wolf looked at him, waiting for him to get on
He climbed on, holding on tight.
The wolf sprang off, springing from gable to spire and hit the ground running
Hansel didn't lean close tonight. It was awkward for him, being near his Sire, after their last confrontation.
The wolf stalks towards the city, slower and more purposeful
The boy watched where they were going, unsure of what area of the city he was being taken to.
It was in one of the more rundown sections of the city
Hansel was grateful for that. He was determined not to drink from an innocent, he'd rather be put down.
The Wolf huffed as he stops.
He climbed off, scanning the streets for suitable prey.
The wolf transform back into the vampire.
Hansel didn't look at him.
"Go find your prey." the vampire simply commanded without a hint of psychic push
He nodded, and slipped through an alley into the crowds.
The vampire seem to vanish, but he was watching from a distance
Hansel watched, noticing a seedy looking man. He had just come out of a bar, but he seemed to have his wits about him still. He followed him.
Dracula noted this, and continue to follow from the rooftops
The boy followed the man, waiting until his target slipped into an alley, and then slipped in behind him. Now that the man had longer for the alcohol to affect him, he was swaying slightly more, but he still didn't appear too drunk.
A good target for a vampire, especially one nursing an injury
Hansel didn't even need to use any abilities to entrap the man. He simply waited until he could catch him unawares, covering his mouth with a hand at the same time he sank his fangs into his neck.
Good. Good,
Apparently, the man was more drunk than Hansel had anticipated. He could feel... something off in the blood, and he could only guess it was the alcohol. But he was hungry, and the man was growing slack.
The hazards of indiscriminate feeding was the drugs, least it wasn't heroin or esctasy.
Hansel let him fall to the ground, completely drained of blood, and then nearly collapsed into the wall.
