Although what she didn't really need was time to sit and think. She'd brought her reading down with her as a distraction, still trying to trace Morgause's family tree. It kept her occupied and she felt that she owed it to the sorceress even more now after all she'd done for her following her dream.

"Could have fooled me", she coughed dryly, instinct still finding a reason to crack a weak joke. She was referring, of course, to the continual pain, not comparing the infirmary to Cabal facilities.

She looked asleep and he didn't want to wake her. He moved to sit tirely in the chair beside her bed. He wrapped his robe tightly around himself. Mogause has brought him some of his own clothes and he felt more comfortable dispite feeling ill.
He sat staring at her, trying desperatly not to think of how she looked when they had found her.

That is why he hovered at the door, still arguing with himself over whether or not this was a good idea.

Nikola's told her the basics of what happened, but Helen has yet to speak with the younger woman for any length of time.

She stretched carefully, wincing as the newly knit together flesh throughout her chest and back from the bullet twinged.

"Dr. Magnus", she replied, wondering if the lady of the house knew all that had transpired in Kate's stay here. "...Hey?"
