Will had wanted to finish up a few things before heading down from his office. Hearing Kate swear he shook his head.

"You'd think by now you'd be used to the coffee pot." He reached into one of the cupboards for a box offering her some of the cookies in it.

"I don't know why Magnus just doesn't get a new one", she grumbled, running her hand under cold water with a wince. She slid the full mug of coffee over to him before gingerly pouring her own, adding to it a substantial amount of milk and sugar. She took a cookie and headed for the sitting room, plopping down on the couch carefully so not to spill her mug.

"Thanks." He picked up his mug and the box following her. "The rest of us have gotten used to it I guess." He took a seat in one of the chairs putting the box on the table between them.

"Even the kitchen appliances attack you around here", Kate rolled her eyes, taking a sip of her steaming coffee.
