Oh my. This was beautiful. So so so wonderful and heartbreaking all at once but it shows clearly just how deeply Merlin loves Arthur (though who wouldn't?)
I also loved how Merlin said that Gwen would stop Arthur from
being prattish, that you managed to include that word in a sad and beautiful piece. You are a master.
Also, I think that this ending just begs for a sequel, does it not? ^_^

Yes, it is beating me to death with a sequel which I am writing so expect one soon-ish, if all my other muses quiet down enough to let me write =D

This was beautiful and sad! and I strongly vote for a sequel too! I do not understand exactly what has Merlin done to himself, but surely Arthur *does* love him? I need my happy ending please!!
