we have the world's most perfect baby. but maybe it's just that i don't mind when he wakes up at 4 am and needs food. the books say i can try to "wean" him from these late, late feedings - and i've decided to try. but i really don't care. i always fall right back to sleep after. and i truly treasure every minute i get to spend with the lil guy

Fathers have not been given enough chances to provide nurturing roles for children. For male children it can be even worse in that a distant always away at work father can produce an emotionally distant role model.
Gods knows, we need to embrace the concept of nurturing male. With more of that going on it could reduce some of the more grievous problems of the gender.
