I feel very small and hardened a lot of the time. I feel like someone took me and carefully, from nervous habit, rolled me into a tiny ball between thumb and forefinger

what do you want from your ljfriends...., if you'd rather that i wouldn't comment on your life, let me know, everyone deserves to be treated how they want to be.
Goodluck, its very strange that a person who doesn't do well with people gets so much attention and history from them... or maybe, everyone does it and i've just never seen it.
I'd have to say that I actually do do very well with people, despite my general dislike for them. The combination of me being charismatic, but not particularly inclined to search people out is what makes me an attractive person to be around. People don't perceive me as being particularly needy or wanting. I'm also very chatty, and I don't try to hide the fact that I'm totally socially inept.
People who are closer to me generally find that I'm not nearly as likeable close up (or in my journal, for instance), but I think that's normal.
I stand corrected. I think social ineptness is something that's either noticed or isn't noticed by people. I've always felt, if you want to get something across, don't wait to find the perfect word, if its important, find some words or a whole slew of them and get your meaning across.
In my life i usually mean more, the term i love you, or getting a feeling across, but i suppose people could use that to say i hate you in a specific way with equal energy.
I'm charismatic with people, but not with people my own age, atleast not in canada.
In a way you are right, you are a bit less likeable, but i feel that i don't like perfect people, such a person doesn't exist, and that's okay, every person has traits, and what's perfect for one person might be a contradiction in another, so if you aren't likeable to a stranger, maybe another stranger would adore you even if you have negative tendencies. see you around.
