Bad Ram stick it sounds more like to me, but I'd have to see your Event Logs to confirm.
A replacement powersupply makes sense since you're not getting BSODs and it's shitting itself on boot. But since you've done that, I'd try popping out your RAM and flip the banks (put stick in slot 1 into slot 0, etc.) and see the result from that. Another option would be to just boot off of one stick and see the result.
If the video card used shared ram from the memory, then the pixelation would make sense.
Are you still PC or did you go to Mac (10.4.7 rocks!)
No, I'm PC. Duel Core 1.8, All-in-Wonder x1900 two 512 sitcks, and I can't remember the motherboard specs. Do you think it could be that the Video card is over heating? I had had that thought, and someone did sugest it to me as a possability. If all I need to do is buy a fan for it I will be happy, if something needs to be replaced I'm in trouble...
