It might have been too late to book flights when I got here, but with one thing or another happening it doesn’t look like I’ll make it to Halifax before the 25th. Yesterday I found a cheep flight home at the right time on the Air Canada web site so I jumped at it, but decided half way through that I’d book my back to Toronto at the same time. ( Read more... )

Might be too late now, but did you check back half an hour later or so? You might know this already, but usually AC holds flights for you for a while (I forget exactly how long - 20 mins?) once you start a booking. It's happened for me a few times that I started a booking, closed the window, and started again 5 mins later but the flight was "gone" because it was being held for my last session. After that expired the flight reappeared.

I did check, hoping that was the case, but the flight didn't show up again. That's okay though. As nice as spending Christmas in Halifax would have been, Christmas with family in Ottawa is good too.
