Was waiting outside a shop in Paris last week when a young woman approached and asked if I'd like to do a marketing quiz for perfume. Ace still hadn't arrived, so I agreed, but with the caveat to the woman - in stumbling French - that I don't know a thing about perfume

My husband was in Paris for a few days this week. Now he's in Spain. He didn't even know about the bomb scare until I told him. Obviously he doesn't speak French.

Glad he made it out of here safely. Hmm, Spain sounds nice too--lucky guy.
