one God in trinity and Trinity in unity, neither confusing the persons nor dividing the substance...

My first day off in 19 days. I could sleep until noon and have breakfast in bed. Oh, goodness. I am also wearing my Thai fisherman's pants for the first time. Was hoping to do more chores today and some exercise. Ended up being a blob on the couch and eating biscuits. I have watched it so many times. I laugh each time, without fail. And the number of time chappy and I, when one of us says something questionable, reply with "That's modalism, Patrick!"... A lot of fun, and very clever.
Thanks or watching it. :)

I'm going to try to connect with that link you gave. Sometimes it works.....other times it doesn't.

I think you're on the right track as you struggle with this concept of Trinity. Like you, I don't think it is meant to be understood........and, let's be clear, it is simply one way to try to understand, or at least describe, the human experience of OTHER. If we thought we understood, that would be good indication that we don't really have a clue! :o)

My guess is that you already do this, but you might enjoy reading Thomas Moore (Not St. Thomas Moore, but the guy who is living and breathing now) and his book entitled A Religion of One's Own. I'm presently rereading it for perhaps the third time. I like his approach to religion.

I have a couple of his books on my shelf - with your recommendation of him, I have been guying them as I see them in op shops and such, although I ust admit I haven't managed to sit down and read any of them yet. I haven't come across 'A Religion of One's Own' yet.

I hope the video works for you. It is well done and makes me chuckle.

Love your mystic heart. <3
